CECS6020, Week 10
Our instructional design project is developing very nicely. We started with a strong mission: instruct educators on methods for mobile learning. Our focus changed slightly, from very hands on (have learners create software applications), to having them develop lessons for instruction that effectively utilizes mobile technology as a vehicle for knowledge transfer. While the subject of mobile learning is fairly new, there are current research and standards being developed. However, the course we are developing is very rare in educator preparation, especially at the graduate level. The only aspect that slightly worries me is time: finishing a quality product by the end of the semester. When complete, I would love to see our work implemented, in some form, into a graduate curriculum.
